The Association of Christian Teachers Scotland has been set up to serve, edify and encourage Christian teachers in Scotland. Our aim is to help and support in a day when teaching is becoming increasingly complex and fraught with many pitfalls. It is hoped that by joining together and working as a team we can serve and strengthen each other to be effective teachers equipped with everything necessary.

COULD THIS BE YOU?
The association is looking to recruit new members of the executive committee.

*Treasurer- would suit retired or part-time teacher. No formal book keeping or accountancy experience required. Need to be familiar with Excel and email.

*International Partners Coordinator- might suit someone with interest/experience of working overseas. Involves keeping in email contact with our 15 or so partners overseas and collating their news/prayer items. Scope for developing this area.

*Couple other executive posts to allow us to be more representative of age/geography of our membership. Only qualifications are enthusiasm, ideas and a willingness to contribute.

All executive members attend 3 business meetings a year, usually on a Saturday. Travel expenses are paid. We also correspond extensively by email/phone as required. Approximately 3 year commitment but flexible.
Get in touch to discuss informally. It is hard work at times but good fun!
